I live in Lakeland, Florida. That's in Central Florida! Smack dab in the middle between Tampa and Orlando. I love going to Tampa and Orlando to visit. The Columbia Restaurant, Historic Ybor City, Museums, Busch Gardens and more. The beaches are within a stone's throw, both east and west of me. Plus they're always rated among the tops in the WORLD! I enjoy visiting City Walk in Orlando AND Disney Village for fun evenings or afternoon strolling. And of course, Disney World isn't ranked the number one tourist attraction in the world for no reason..It's one of my favorite places to go.

I'm close to the "tourist traps" but far enough away to have a normal life in my slower paced, non-touristy Florida town. Lakeland has gotten too big for my tastes and eventually who knows where I'll land. I've already moved out from the city and the city is following me at a fast pace. I still enjoy my hometown. There are 17 lakes, I'm within an hour to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and two hours to the Atlantic Ocean. Cold water springs are found all over the state. Fresh water, salt water, tourist traps and a few hours to the mountains. What more could I ask for?
